Mars in March 2010

Mars is back this season and is placed extremely high in the sky this year which means much more steady air adn less atmosphere to observe through. There have been some observations lately stating that this has been some of the best Mars observations ever seen, because of it location in the sky being so high.  Polar caps are easly observable and surface features are more detailed than ever. To locate Mars in your night sky, look to the the South East and then raise your sites almost straight up over head. (See Image Below)

Mars in March 2010 is located right between the constrellation Cancer and Gemini just to the left of the Beehive cluster
